Juxtaposition (class exercise part 1)

This week, Mr.Radzi gave us class exercise about understanding the juxtaposition. He gave us 20 words divided into two part (the blue and the red), after that we have to choose 3 set of number. I choose 22, 12, and 18. It gave me 3 sentences, lightning rock, ice wind and ice wood. After that we have to make it into sentences, for the example in one sentences should have the word lightning and rock and its related. For the lightning rock, i make the sentence : The lightning has broken that rock.Then if we have made 3 sentence, we have to visualized it by pictures. After that we should combine those words into lightningrock, icewind and icewood, then we have to make the picture that represent that thing so that people who see the picture will recognized it. For the example, we have to visualized the icewind with our creativity so that when people see the picture, they will recognize it like the icewind.

In class, we also have to make some sentence that related between love and chili also man and mortar and pestle. So i made it.
"Love is like chili, it taste spicy but make us addicted and wanted more. Love can make our heart broken, but we never give up for love."
"Man is like mortar and pestle because they are strong."

Juxtaposition

The little giants is about brothers, Danny and Kevin. Kevin is a boy that ruled over his younger brother, Danny. Kevin always underestimate Danny and thinks that he is weak, especially in their favorite sport, Football which is very famous in their town while Danny always be patient about his brother's behavior .

When they've grown up, Kevin become a famous football coach in their town and has a football team while Danny works on the gas station. One day Danny very upset because Kevin does not want to put Becky, Danny's tomboy daughter into Kevin's football team whereas she's better than other player in the team. Danny very upset and he decided to strive against Kevin for the first time in his life. Danny begins to make new football team with the new and fresh member. Some of the team player really doesn’t know anything about football compared to Kevin's team which has best player. They train their team with their own differences way. Each team has difference strategy to beat their rival.

Finally the people in the town decided to make a match between Danny's team, The Little Giants versus Kevin's team, The Cowboys to get the main team for their town.
In the end, you can see which team that will win the game and be the champion.

In this movie we can see the juxtaposition in the characters between Kevin and Danny and also their difference and opposite ways to train their team and build the strategy to win the game.

Logical Mind Map and Associated Mind Map

Mind map is something that we do when we want to visualize our idea and make it into widely thought. Mind map is similar with brainstorming because we are thinking about anything that related to our main idea or our concept for something.

There are two types of mind map, logical mind map and associated mind map. Logical mind map can be describe as everything that we write on the mind map is all the things that so related to the concept and the idea while the associated mind map is the opposite from the logical mind map. The associated mind map can be describe as the thing that link to the concept or idea but not so related directly with the concept.

Mind map is so important for the student like us. We usually do the mind mapping when we want to produce something that related to our idea. Mind map is also make us minimize the big topic into the idea which is more focus.

Mind map can help us to remember the information, organize our idea and concept, to make the details of our concept, and focus with the idea. With the simple and clear text in the mind map, we can understand it easily and we can also make some colour for the mind map to make it more interesting to see.

Novelty, creativity, innovation and invention

This week, we learned about novelty, creativity, innovation and invention. The meaning of novelty is new. Subjective novelty is appreciation of something as being new. The objective novelty is something new for all humanity development through ages.the innovation is making something exist become new also introducing something new and invention is making something new that never exist before.

There are many ways to get some new ideas. The creative process to get some new ideas are ideas, solution, invention and produced. All the people have creativity and think in a different way. For the example, we can see the same thing but we can think about it different. It's the ambiguity of creativity. Creative idea is something that make sense and useful for the people. In this modern era, so many invention, innovation, creativity and also novelty around us. It can be electronic, gadget, clothes, music also foods.
