Evolution of Experience in Creative Multimedia (Essay )
We all know that FCM, or Faculty of Creative Multimedia, offer a unique and different set of syllabus, in fact, from our point of view, FCM student’s really stands out from the rest of the student in Multimedia University. Why you might ask? Because FCM is the only faculty in Multimedia University that require it’s student to be creative, hence the name Faculty of Creative Multimedia. FCM offers a wide range of major, such as Film & Animation, Media Innovation, Virtual Reality, Interface Design, and Digital Media. All of these Majors is requires its student to have a taste in art, which makes FCM a bit similar to Art School, but in FCM, we concentrate more on how to make art in this modern world, because art is everywhere, in your television, on the internet, magazines, and many other examples. Going through FCM really gives a lot of experience, and not only from the faculty, but also from the surrounding environment, you will learn a lot of things by going through FCM, for example, you will change your browsing routine from Facebook, Myspace, and other social networking site to let’s say, deviant art, the Flash website award, Ads of the world, and that’s only your browsing routine, imagine what it could do to your life.
People say that experience is the best teacher in our life. It can teach us everything and actually it is the best lesson we can get in our life. In creative multimedia there are a lot of experiences that we can get from around it. From school, course, work, home, even in our individual time. For example, a design student he will get his own experience in his learning process. At that moment he will learn how to make something good from only a simple thing or make something useful from recycle things. They will get experience how to make something that can attract people to look at his/her artworks. They trained how to make good compositions, colors balance, simple, nice, not much, and can attract people to see it. Usually the design’s lecturers will give lots of assignments to make their student getting used to it and make each day their students getting better on doing his/ her works. Experience can make the big impact for somebody even into the world. It can change our life. For the example like following some contest, some people does not care whether they won or lose it, the important thing is they get the experience. Study and work are also the way to get new experiences and the most important things from all of that is the invention of new things or we can call it innovation. We can get a lot of experience from work. In this circle we will feel the real situation how the designer works. There are a lot of experiences that we can get. In cinematography we can be a director who makes a story of the film, or being a design graphic who designing something that can attract people and many more of example that we can get from work’s circle.
From the ancient times until now we have seen many innovations especially in the technology. Media is one of the things that have been widely developed over the advancement of technology. For the first time, the people from the ancient times use the nature things as the media to communicate, express their feeling, and share their respect for their ancestors and the culture. They start to make sculpture from the stone and painting on the cave wall. Year over year change, people try to paint on something that made from the clay. From this activity, we also can make it into craft and then sell it. From that time people found canvas as the media to share all the things that they want to share. After that people found the big invention and become the innovation to the world which is the computer. Computer can make all the things become easier, it helps the people do their work because with computer we can do it digitally. We also can communicate and share information with all the people around the world if we connected it to the internet. Radio is also the media to communicate, but nowadays it had lost the popularity because all the people prefer the television rather than radio because the television in an audio visual media while radio is just a visual media.
So with our creativity towards multimedia from time to time, we will find many experience which bring us to a level which is easier in our learning process. For the first time, the people from the ancient times use the nature things as the media to communicate, express their feeling. But now? With our creativity, we can communicate through internet which make major changes in the history of communication. We have new ideas, we invent things that can make the big impact for somebody even into the world. It can change our life for the future.

Juxtaposition (class exercise part 2)
The second exercise is about how merger go wrong. This time we have to make the picture that combine two opposite animals. So that i make the combination between the lion and the chicken also the butterfly and the pig.
Juxtaposition (class exercise part 1)
This week, Mr.Radzi gave us class exercise about understanding the juxtaposition. He gave us 20 words divided into two part (the blue and the red), after that we have to choose 3 set of number. I choose 22, 12, and 18. It gave me 3 sentences, lightning rock, ice wind and ice wood. After that we have to make it into sentences, for the example in one sentences should have the word lightning and rock and its related. For the lightning rock, i make the sentence : The lightning has broken that rock.Then if we have made 3 sentence, we have to visualized it by pictures. After that we should combine those words into lightningrock, icewind and icewood, then we have to make the picture that represent that thing so that people who see the picture will recognized it. For the example, we have to visualized the icewind with our creativity so that when people see the picture, they will recognize it like the icewind.
In class, we also have to make some sentence that related between love and chili also man and mortar and pestle. So i made it.
"Love is like chili, it taste spicy but make us addicted and wanted more. Love can make our heart broken, but we never give up for love."

Juxtaposition
The little giants is about brothers, Danny and Kevin. Kevin is a boy that ruled over his younger brother, Danny. Kevin always underestimate Danny and thinks that he is weak, especially in their favorite sport, Football which is very famous in their town while Danny always be patient about his brother's behavior .
When they've grown up, Kevin become a famous football coach in their town and has a football team while Danny works on the gas station. One day Danny very upset because Kevin does not want to put Becky, Danny's tomboy daughter into Kevin's football team whereas she's better than other player in the team. Danny very upset and he decided to strive against Kevin for the first time in his life. Danny begins to make new football team with the new and fresh member. Some of the team player really doesn’t know anything about football compared to Kevin's team which has best player. They train their team with their own differences way. Each team has difference strategy to beat their rival.
Finally the people in the town decided to make a match between Danny's team, The Little Giants versus Kevin's team, The Cowboys to get the main team for their town.
In the end, you can see which team that will win the game and be the champion.
In this movie we can see the juxtaposition in the characters between Kevin and Danny and also their difference and opposite ways to train their team and build the strategy to win the game.
Logical Mind Map and Associated Mind Map
Mind map is something that we do when we want to visualize our idea and make it into widely thought. Mind map is similar with brainstorming because we are thinking about anything that related to our main idea or our concept for something.
There are two types of mind map, logical mind map and associated mind map. Logical mind map can be describe as everything that we write on the mind map is all the things that so related to the concept and the idea while the associated mind map is the opposite from the logical mind map. The associated mind map can be describe as the thing that link to the concept or idea but not so related directly with the concept.
Mind map is so important for the student like us. We usually do the mind mapping when we want to produce something that related to our idea. Mind map is also make us minimize the big topic into the idea which is more focus.
Mind map can help us to remember the information, organize our idea and concept, to make the details of our concept, and focus with the idea. With the simple and clear text in the mind map, we can understand it easily and we can also make some colour for the mind map to make it more interesting to see.
Novelty, creativity, innovation and invention
This week, we learned about novelty, creativity, innovation and invention. The meaning of novelty is new. Subjective novelty is appreciation of something as being new. The objective novelty is something new for all humanity development through ages.the innovation is making something exist become new also introducing something new and invention is making something new that never exist before.
There are many ways to get some new ideas. The creative process to get some new ideas are ideas, solution, invention and produced. All the people have creativity and think in a different way. For the example, we can see the same thing but we can think about it different. It's the ambiguity of creativity. Creative idea is something that make sense and useful for the people. In this modern era, so many invention, innovation, creativity and also novelty around us. It can be electronic, gadget, clothes, music also foods.
Defining Creativity
Creativity can make ordinary things become extra ordinary. All the people in the world has creativity in their self, but sometimes they do not know how to realized it. Creative is making something which is brand new and never there before, it can be idea, innovation, process and other things. Brand new does not always mean a new invention, it can be something exist before but we create a new process and idea so that all the people will change the way they look for it.
Creative thinking can us find some fresh ideas. The first step of creative thinking is brainstorming. Creative thinking make us get some new idea which is never thought about before and different from the people. A simple idea also can be something creative.
Creative people is never tired to try. They also never afraid of failure. They will create something that they're have in their mind although sometimes some people think it is unusual.
